The Proud Boys are a far-right extremist group that has been involved in numerous acts of violence and hate speech. They are known for their misogyny, racism, and anti-democratic beliefs.

The Proud Boys were founded in 2016 by Gavin McInnes, a former Vice Media co-founder. The group's stated mission is to "reclaim Western culture" and to "fight for our Western values." However, the Proud Boys are not simply a group of frat boys who like to drink beer and watch football. They are a dangerous and violent group that has been involved in numerous incidents of hate speech and violence.

In 2017, the Proud Boys were involved in the violent Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia. The rally was organized by white supremacists and neo-Nazis, and the Proud Boys were among the most violent participants. They were seen attacking counter-protesters with sticks and shields, and they also chanted racist and anti-Semitic slogans.

The Proud Boys have also been involved in other acts of violence, including the assault of a Black Lives Matter protester in New York City and the beating of a gay man in Portland, Oregon. In addition to violence, the Proud Boys are also known for their misogyny and racism. They have made numerous derogatory statements about women and minorities, and they have been accused of promoting white nationalism.

The Proud Boys are a dangerous threat to our democracy. This group should not be taken lightly as they are well funded and organized. They are a violent and hateful group that is committed to spreading their ideology of disrespectful speech that is not current for the world we live in today
